Road To KoreaFest Guidelines
-
All submissions must be in the form of a single take. Any cuts or edits are not permitted and will lead to disqualification.
-
Props are permitted. Props must be clearly disclosed in the submission form. Props that are unsafe are not allowed. Any exceptions to performance rules must be approved by the InWave team.
-
A submission fee of $10 per person is required and must be paid using one of the approved payment methods listed on the official submission form at the time of submission. The submission fee will not be reimbursed if an accepted person is no longer able to participate in Road To KoreaFest. Submissions without payment will not be considered.
-
The submission form will open on Sunday, November 1st, 2026 at 8 pm and will close on Friday, November 6th, 2026 at 8 pm, or earlier if all slots have been filled. Submission will be accepted on a First-Come, First-Served basis. Confirmation emails will be sent out to all participants on, or before, Sunday November 8th, 2026. Late entries will not be accepted. For all questions or concerns, please contact InWaveCompetition@gmail.com.
-
Choreography must be appropriate; suggestive, vulgar, or explicit movements are strictly prohibited. Any choreography deemed inappropriate by the InWave team must be modified or removed to better suit the audience of Road To KoreaFest. Participants who need to change their submissions will be notified as soon as possible and will need to resubmit before November 9th to not delay submission posting.
-
Music must be free from political or religious references, abusive language, obscenities, or any content deemed inappropriate by the InWave team. Song choices must be from Korean music industry artists. If a group or individual chooses to perform songs by artists outside of this scope, such as: XG, Katseye, or similar, they must receive pre-approval from the InWave team. Performances may include a mix of songs, provided that all selections meet the above criteria.
